This Policy covers the EcommEagle company website. EagleLytics is a separate product and may present additional product-specific privacy terms when you create or use an account.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. If you email us or otherwise contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company, message and any details included in attachments or correspondence.
Basic technical information. Our hosting and security providers may process IP address, browser type, device information, request time, referring page and requested URL in ordinary server logs. This information is used to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website.
Optional analytics information. Google Analytics 4 loads only after you enable Analytics. When enabled, it may collect page and interaction events, browser and device information, referral information and approximate location derived from an IP address. Advertising storage, Google signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled in this implementation.
External media information. YouTube receives no embed request from this website until you press Play on a specific video. The player then loads from youtube-nocookie.com at your request. YouTube may receive your IP address, browser and device information, video interaction data and other information under Google’s own privacy terms.
2. Why we use information
Consent is the basis for optional analytics, and you may withdraw it at any time through Privacy Choices. A YouTube player is loaded only after a just-in-time notice and your request to play that specific video. We otherwise process information as needed to provide the website, respond to your request, meet legal obligations, and pursue legitimate security and operational interests where permitted by law.

- Understand website performance and improve content when you consent to analytics.
- Display a video walkthrough when you press Play and request that media.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, users and services.
4. Consent, opt-out and browser signals
The first-layer notice offers equally available options to accept analytics, reject it, or review the setting. Analytics starts off. Your decision is stored for up to 180 days unless you clear browser storage or change it sooner.
Use the Privacy Choices control available throughout the website to withdraw analytics consent or change your choice. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics loading. Content and core website functions remain available.
When Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled, optional analytics defaults off unless you explicitly choose to enable it in Privacy Choices. We do not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, this Policy and the controls will be updated before the change takes effect.
5. When information is disclosed
We may disclose information to vendors that provide hosting, security, communications and other services on our behalf; to Google when you enable Analytics or request a YouTube video; when required by law or valid legal process; and when reasonably necessary to prevent harm, fraud, misuse or security incidents.
If EcommEagle is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.
We do not currently sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or display third-party behavioral advertising on this website.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, including responding to inquiries, maintaining security records, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations. Consent records are retained in your browser for up to 180 days. Google Analytics cookies may persist for up to 2 years after consent; event-level analytics data follows the retention setting maintained in the Google Analytics property.
7. International processing
EcommEagle operates in the United States. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will use appropriate contractual or other approved safeguards.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or portability; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising or certain profiling; and to appeal a denied request. California residents may also request the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, sources, purposes and categories of recipients, and may exercise applicable rights without discriminatory treatment.
To submit a request, email support@ecommeagle.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need enough information to verify the request and protect your information. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law; we may request proof of authority and identity verification.
You may also complain to the data protection or consumer privacy authority where you live. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
9. California disclosures
In the preceding 12 months, this website may have collected these CCPA categories: identifiers, such as an IP address and contact details you submit; internet or electronic activity, such as requests and consented site interactions; approximate geolocation derived from an IP address if optional analytics is enabled; and professional information, such as a company or role you choose to include in an inquiry.
Sources are you, your browser or device, and service providers acting for us. Business purposes are website delivery, security, support, communications and consented measurement. These categories may be disclosed to hosting, security, communications, analytics and media service providers for those purposes. We do not currently sell these categories or share them for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not currently use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics, offer financial incentives for personal information, or knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 through this website.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we process. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
11. Children
This website and EcommEagle’s business software are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
12. Other websites and services
Links to EagleLytics, YouTube and other websites are governed by those services’ own terms and privacy practices. This Policy does not control information collected after you leave this website or directly interact with a third-party service.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our website, products, vendors or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version here, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when required by law. If a change requires new consent, optional processing will remain disabled until that consent is obtained.
